Alec Baldwin motivates people to ‘overthrow’ Trump and company in midterm elections

Actor Alec Baldwin, portraying as President Donald Trump in Saturday Night Live, finished the show with a serious call where he asks the voters to overthrow the Trump government peacefully in coming elections.

After he performed the role of Trump on Saturday Night Live, Baldwin took to New Hampshire and attended the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s annual fall dinner where he was also a prominent speaker.

“The way we implement change in America is through elections. We change governments here at home in an orderly and formal way,” he said. “In that orderly and formal way and lawful way, we need to overthrow the government of the United States under Donald Trump.”

Baldwin further spoke about the government, saying that Republicans are not building anything. Instead, they are becoming the destroyers. It is just a bunch of people that have gained power and are putting up policies that are hazardous for the country. He also talked about immigration policy as ‘malicious’ and stated that the country is increasingly becoming a place where the rights of the humans are being violated. Getting money from the federal treasury, these people are putting it in the banks of their supporters.

With some notable comments, Baldwin said that the Republicans are being ‘shrug’ when the matter of gun violence arises. Not addressing the matter and relying on the old age energy policies, the government is not offering any solution neither doing anything to provide some hope to people around. Making some fuming comments, he said that they are not doing anything for the people of color that seek a good seat at the American economic table, rather than issuing them a prison or giving them a bullet.

The actor further took on the matter of the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, labelling the views of Republicans about women as undeserving as the same constitutional protections as men. Baldwin said that it was critical for the authorities to set all the politics aside for a moment and establish a benchmark decision which would help in stamping on the women’s rights. Instead, the government failed horribly and it was overall pretty ugly.

Baldwin was asked later on Sunday if he might be looking up to a run for the office. However, he said that he won’t get too political and, joking about the matter, further added that his wife would probably give him a divorce.
