Eunice Gayson dies at 90

She played the role of Sylvia Trench in the James bond 007 debut movie Dr. No in 1962. This was the first James Bond movie ever created. The actress died at the age of 90.

London. 11th. June, 2018: We all have been the great fans of ‘the’bond’ movies, James Bond movies have never failed to impress the audience in every way. No matter to which generation it may have belonged to, till today people admire, follow and replicate the James bond style.

Not just men even women appreciate such male-centric character and they also follow the trends set by the bond girls In the movies. James Bond has always been the most admired British spy and gentleman for its style and acting skills, on the other hand, bond girls have also been able to gain much attention of the audience; they have always stood as main part of the movie. There have been total 37 bond girls each one came with its own style and talent.

8th June 2018 marks the day when Eunice Gayson, the first James bond girl has passed away.

She played the role of Sylvia Trench in the James bond 007 debut movie Dr. No in 1962. This was the first James Bond movie ever created. The actress died at the age of 90.

When the first Bond movie was being filmed this talented actress helped sean connery’s to calm his nerves so that he could deliver his best shot as a spy for the most catchy and famous phrase “Bond, James Bond”. The actress was able to bring out the best in others.

The posts on her Twitter account shows that this actress will definitely be missed.

 The two producers of the bond series Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli released a statement saying that “ we both are so sad to hear about the sad news of Eunice Gayson, the very first bond girl of ours, who in Dr No and From Russia with love , played the role of Sylvia Trench has passéd away”.

They also paid their sincere thoughts to her family.

Gayson, who passed away on 8th June, was a big help in creating the most enduring catchphrase of the cinema ever, as she played the role of Sylvia Trench.

The famous catchphrase came up in Le Cercle Club casino at the meet over of 007 cards, she suggested to raise the stakes and to that bond replied; I admire your courage. miss…?

To which the bond girl replied “Trench, Sylvia Trench. I admire your luck, Mr…?

“Bond, James Bond.”

This dialogue created the history of cinema

In 2012 an interview was taken in which Gayson said that it was very difficult to film a scene with Sean Connery as he always struggled with his lines.

Eunice Gayson, the very fine actress was born in 1928. She has played many different screen roles, which includes Hammer Horror’s movie THE Revenge of Frankenstein filmed in 1958 before she became the first ever bond girl.

After the bond movies, she also appeared in many different classic Tv series like Avengers and The Saint.
