ISIS Bride Pleading U.S To Let Her Return

Muthana, a 24 year old woman is pleading the officials to let her back into the U.S. She ran off to Iraq and Syria region to become an ISIS bride but now as the ISIS has lost the power, she wants to come back. Muthana is now being held as a captive by the Kurdish forces. The President of U.S Donald Trump himself tweeted about this incident in which he ordered Mike Pompeo who is the Secretary of State to not let Muthana enter this country.

Statement by Mike Pompeo

Mike Pompeo made an official statement, “She does not have any legal basis, no valid U.S. passport, no right to a passport, nor any visa to travel to the United States. We continue to strongly advise all the U.S. citizens not to travel to Syria.”

Legal representative

Muthana was born in Hackensack, New Jersey which makes her a civilian of this country. Her legal representative Hassan Shibly said that the Trump administration is wrongfully stripping off the citizenship from the 24 year old woman. He also added that Hoda Muthana has a valid passport and is a citizen of U.S.

The interview

She told The Guardian in a recent interview that her experience with the ISIS was an awful one. She added, “I would tell them please forgive me for being so ignorant, and I was really young and was 19 when I decided to leave.” The ISIS bride said that her upbringing was a part of this regretful decision she made. She told the interviewer that her parents were really strict which made her thought that whatever she is learning about the religion is right by the sake of God. Muthana is now living 6500 miles away from her home with her 15 month old baby.
