Samantha Bee is not the only one to have reacted to Ivanka’s photograph, judging it inappropriate and irresponsible. Other celebrities also reacted to it. However, Bee’s reaction was too extreme and shocked many viewers and fans insofar as Bee somehow crossed a limit by using C*** and F*** words on her show.
Washington. 1st. June, 2018: It all started on Sunday, after Ivanka Trump decided to post an adorable picture of herself hugging her son with love and affection. On Wednesday, on her show “Full Frontal”, Samantha Bee called Ivanka Trump a feckless C*** for deciding to share this picture right after reports revealed that the Office of Refugee Resettlement did no less than lose track of about 1,500 immigrant children in only three months ( from October to December 2017).
Bee had also said that Ivanka’s photograph with her son was the second most irresponsible tweet of the week, the first one being Roseanne Barr’s tweet saying that former adviser to Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett looks like she is the daughter of both “Muslim Brotherhood and Planet of the Apes”. For a person who works at the White House and who is the first daughter, choosing to share such a picture in such particular circumstances cannot be considered as a good thing, Bee feels.
In her show, Bee had said the following:
“You know, Ivanka, that’s a beautiful photo of you and your child, but let me just say, one mother to another, do something about your dad’s immigration practices you feckless c—!”
Bee then went further, adding:
“He listens to you! Put on something tight and low cut and tell your father to f—ing stop it. Tell him it was an Obama thing and see how it goes”.
The next day, Bee apologized, realized that she went too far and that she should not have used an expletive to describe Ivanka. It should be noted, however, that Bee only apologized for the way in which she addressed Ivanka’s tweet (i.e. using inappropriate language), but did not apologize for her thoughts on Ivanka. Bee is actually known for addressing issues such as social change, etc.
