September, 2018: At the UN in New York, Trudeau spoke with the reporters and he said that they’ll keep working on a wide range of solutions as they have categories of ways ahead for them. He further said that they are looking in a constructive and a positive way to get the NAFTA renewed and that it would be trilateral between the U.S, Mexico, and Canada.

This is been signaled by Canada that this week Nafta deadline would be passed without even a deal. Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister, cites a range of paths while the U.S envoy of him is digging on at two issues. Washington’s ambassador, David MacNaughton and the Prime Minister Trudeau both separately addressed the NAFTA on Wednesday. In their addresses, they both even didn’t give any indication about the push to reach any contact. The U.S is having plans to publish the copy of its deal which has been done with Mexico on Friday. Three people are familiar with this matter and they said about this publication.

His comments to the reports and also the trade czar Tuesday from the Donald Trump shows that the U.S is going to finalize its agreement with Mexico while still there’d be some talks with Canada with more chances of the possibility that there could be the tucking of Northern Nation in the deal at some other date. According to the statements and views, U.S has said that the deal will be signed with Mexico till November end but still it isn’t sure that Canada will be a part of the agreement or not.

The Prime Minister of Canada, Trudeau said that Canada and the U.S will remain in the discussions and he also said that his foreign minister is into it and he is leading the NAFTA case. He will address the UN and the address would show that there won’t be the chance for any last moment bargaining in Washington. He further said that all the efforts would be done by them to get the right deal for Canada. Trudeau and Trump also had a brief handshake at a lunch this Tuesday where the U.S president didn’t even stand to greet other leaders and he kept on sitting. Later on, the Prime Minister said that as it was quick and sudden so the people need not think about it.
