Who succeeded in staying and who unfortunately had to leave the second season of World Of Dance, in episode 9
World of dance is an American reality dance competition premiered on NBC. Jenna Dewan is the host of the show while, Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo, and Derek Hough are the judges.
World of Dance duels have finally arrived, and people can not control their excitement. The duels started on Wednesday, July 25 at 8 pm EDT; the competition is spiced up with pairs competing head-to-head in a two-hour episode you will regret missing.
The act with the most points in each of the four divisions (Junior, Junior Team, Upper, Upper Team) will be offered to select who their opponents will be in the duels. Each pair will perform their dancing act on which they will receive scores according to how well they performed, on the opinion based on the judges and their five-point scoring systems. The pair with the highest average will be transferred to the next round, The Cut, while the teams that lost will be eliminated and will have to go back home.
At the time of qualifications, 60 acts succeeded in scoring 80 or even above that, providing them eligibility to move to the next duel.
Following are the duels and their results:
1. Karen y Ricardo vs. Luka & Jenalyn (Upper)
Both teams performed enthusiastically, but Karen y Ricardo had to be appreciated more than the others. They moved to the next round with the scores 97, 99, and another 99 from the judges Ne-Yo, Jennifer, and Derek respectively.
2. Untouchables vs. Expressenz (Junior Team)
Expressenz won the day with their well-coordinated and rhythmic performance. Receiving 93, 95, and 94 from the judges Ne-Yo, Jennifer, and Derek respectively.
3. Pasha & Daniella vs. BDash & Konkrete (Upper)
Even though Pasha and Daniella performed with all their heart, judges thought something was missing so BDash, and Konkrete stole the show with 95, 94, and 94 from the judges Ne-Yo, Jennifer, and Derek respectively.
4. Rascals vs The Fabulous Sister (Junior Team)
The Fabulous Sisters beat the Rascals with their fierce performance achieving 95, 96, and 96 from the judges Ne-Yo, Jennifer, and Derek respectively.
5. Michael Dameski vs Angyil
Michael Dameski heads towards the next round gaining 95, 94, and 95 from the judges Ne-Yo, Jennifer, and Derek respectively.
6. The Bradas vs. The Jam Project
The Bradas performed exceptionally, including the props and tricks left The Jam Project’s energetic act behind with 90, 90 and 89 from the judges Ne-Yo, Jennifer, and Derek respectively.
7. Eva Igo vs Avery & Marcus
According to the judges, Eva’s act seemed to be very ordinary, while Avery and Marcus electrified the stage and received 95, 93 and 92 from the judges Ne-Yo, Jennifer, and Derek respectively.
